Soap Box #1 – (dont mean to go off on a rant here…) The trouble with the whole idea of success is that it’s lifespan actually exists in the past. We are constantly looking back at it hoping that one day it will be running along side us, but it cant. So in order to deal with this dilemma we throw the illusion of it in front of us. I mean, to constantly be chasing the thing that you are past is painful, exhausting, and completely unfulfilling. So as we are drugged with this illusion of security we continue our chase, which we find intoxicating, and even worse, real. The bottom line is moving on is hard and it’s complicated. “If life is a journey,” then we all have to admit that we have a little dirt on our shoes and cease the rear-viewing. I mean can you walk forward while looking backward without tripping over something?
